During January 2009 Flux and the Danish Technical University (DTU) entered into a PhD contract allowing both organisations to strengthen their knowledge of planar transformers. The project will run for 3 years.

DTU is one of the leading technical universities in northern Europe and benchmarks with the best universities in the world. Based on intensive efforts in research, innovation and the transfer of knowledge, DTU has contributed to Denmark achieving a leading position within fields as diverse as design, wind energy, biotechnology, electronics and telecommunication

The co-operation is in line with Flux’s strategy of strengthening ties with technical universities and promoting power electronics to students.
